Momomi 360 Balance Board

Our FSC certified German beechwood Momomi 360 Balance Board was created to help children develop a sense of balance, stimulate their vestibular system, and gain a deep sense of awareness of their body and body parts. It also stimulates a child's mental development and offers open-ended play opportunities for toddlers, children, teens, and even adults.Ā

Material

Producing aĀ 360 Balance BoardĀ  is a complex process,Ā itĀ is made of pressed sustainableĀ German beech wood, treated with waterbased paints and varnishes.Ā Since the wood areĀ natural, patterns of each 360 Balance BoardĀ is unique, black dotsĀ are occasionally found on the board and it's normal due to the nature of the wood.

Multi-use

360 Balance Board can very well be used by adults as well. To get fit, stretch your back, (as a seat aid) in yoga exercises, to train balance and just because it's fun. It's possible to do a wide range of exercises on the 360 Balance Board, from relatively light to extremely heavy.Ā

TheĀ 360 Balance Board is designed for indoor use. Outdoor play is possible for only The Original model, but because of that it will wear out sooner. Don't let is sit outside, because water and moisture will eventually effect the wood. Make sure to keep it dry.

Cleaning Instructions

Cleaning is best done by wiping with a damp cloth, possibly with a mild detergent. It is important to rub with a dry cloth. We have good experiences with vacuuming to clean the felt and possibly with mild ox-gall soap. Don't do this too wet, otherwise the adhesive layers and theĀ felt could be damaged. The 360 Balance Board is a natural product and therefore ages pretty. Scratches and dents will definitely occur.

Safety

Always let children play under adult supervision and let them get used to the 360 Balance Board. Beware of fingers and toes at the edges. Teach your child from the first time to never hold the edges. Provide at least two meters of free space (also to other children) around the 360 Balance BoardĀ and place it on a flat, horizontal surface. Don't use it on a Soft Touch Tatami Mat, it may flatten the sponge inside the mat.Ā Make sure they don't wear socks or smooth shoes, otherwise they might slip and they could fall.Ā
